  • 1990-2000: Member of the FKGA (Fachkommission für die Geologie der Alpentransversalen), a commission evaluating railway tunneling in the Swiss Alps on behalf of the Swiss Ministry of Transport.

  • 2001-2004: Expert on Seismic Source Characterization on behalf of NAGRA in the framework of the project PEGASOS (a new Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis for the Swiss Nuclear Power Plant operators).
